Macro to delete columns from table

Hi
Is it possible to wrtie a macro that deletes certain columns from a table?
I'm after something that deletes column 1,2,6,8,13 etc
I dont no much about access, if anyone can show me how to get started writing such a macro that would be great.

Been thinking and maybe i dont need to delete anything.

Im trying to add chages to the data in the first table from the second table table.

Prob i've got is i want to add entirly new records, and change old records in the first table,

should i be using a few different updat and append queries to do this?

Any theory help would be great
