Hello,

Using Excel 2010, I have a cell named StartRow (right now the value is 16). I have a cell named NumberToCopy (right now the value is 826).

I'm looking for a macro that will copy row 16 to row 826.

I have a feeling this is straightforward, but I'm a newbie. :-) Thank you for your help.

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
sub Answer()
Rows(Range("StartRow").Value).Resize(Range("NumberToCopy").value-range("StartRow").value)+1).FillDown
End Sub

Thank you for the suggestion - it looks like it would work. However, VB is giving me a compile error...complaining about the very last ")"
