Is there any sort of an automatic Macro Recorder in Access like there is in Excel??

No, put you can easily put a macro together, check it works and then convert it into Access VBA. Also, for Forms and Reports, the Controls Toolbar contains a Wizard toggle button, depress this and then add a control, it'll often write the required code for you.
