Macro recorder third party

I am looking at a lot of third party keystroke and mouse recorders so i can play back repetitive tasks. These tasks are not all in excel thus I am looking at "window 3.1" style keystroke recorders like Kra-Tronic and Smart Keys and other stuff. I already have a mouse macro but it can't switch from one application to another. Also I'm no code head so i need a simple recording and code building application a non-code person can edit.
Any recommendations? I'm going to BUY the Kra-Tronics thing if i don't get any other advice here. i tried some of the free macro recorders on CNET but their code is too complicated so i could never get them to work.
