Greetings. My first post here. Apologies in advance if I've overlooked something simple.
I use a rather complex spread sheet generated by an organization I work for. In essence it's a scheduling and staff/student tool used for weekend events held at racetracks (auto racing). It has the master sheets that are populated with spreadsheets that are found with a "browse" button. It is all run by macros, which I have only a very rudimentary knowledge of. The whole system was written on a windows based OS. I have and use a windows PC which works fine. When I travel I carry a Mac laptop, which I have MS 365 on, including Excel, but if I try to run the processor on it the "browse" feature is inop. When I try to run the macro manually (Developer-macros-etc) I get the dread "the item with the specified name wasn't found" error message. I'm assuming the browse (search) is looking for Windows nomenclature for it's browse function rater than Mac, and hence the issue.
Any guidance would be wonderful.
Thanks.
