Please be patient with me as this is my first post.

I am looking for a macro that will do the following...
In tab B when I insert a specific 3 digit number (which resides in tab A, column B with full detail) into column A; I want it to pull the description associated with the number into tab b column B, the descriptions reside in tab a, column c. I also then want the text "subtotal" to appear above cell A# (3 digit code) and then subtotal adjacent columns H+M+O and total into column R.

On a deadline...hope i get some quick replies! Thanks in advance :)

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
one more thing... I would also like macro to pull totals from specific cells in sheet B to Sheet A.
ie: if I insert 3 digits into sheet b column A, locate the 3digits within Sheet A column B, insert the subtotals of sheet B column h and O within the parameter of that 3 digit number.

hope that made sense :0
