Hi all,

I am wondering if a macro could hide/unhide rows by a caterogry.

To be clear, I have Names in the D column, let's for simplicity say there are 2 names nancy and in a different row there's sue and there are multiple instance of them on many different rows.

I wish to be able to hit a toggle button and have it reveal only the sue rows and have a seprete toggle button reveal only the nancy rows.

Thank you in advance for any direction that you can give me

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Thanks for the quick replay Kenneth.

I have already tried autofilter but it does not work well when the sheet is protected, further I have found on many occasions that it will auto sort some information and not others, then all the data get mixed up as a result I do not trust it.

But thank you
