Hello everyone!

I would kindly ask you for help with macro which would save file #1 with name of file #2 .

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Try...

Code:
Sub Macro1()

Windows("#1.xlsm").Activate
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:="C:\Your Path\#2.xlsm"

End Sub

Thank you for your reply, however, it won't work.

It has to be done to many files.

Everything looks like this:

-Open template file
-Open data1 file
-Copy data1 file to template file
-Close data1 file
-Save template file with name of data1 file
-open template file and repeat everything to next file in folder

To accomplish this task i do need macro code to copy name of file with data, then close this file, then paste this to save as name of template file
