I receive a daily email with a PDF report in it and I want to convert it to Excel so that I can do some sorting etc. as it has lots of info on it that is not used. Would someone be kind enough to assist with some code to be able to do this in a macro that I can add to my sheet

The pdf will be called POP01Dec18 with the date changing each day

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
are you able to manually copy the pdf into excel ?

Yes but this is the 1st step in a bigger macro that I want to set up.

I am trying to reduce the steps involved for other users and because after I get the pdf info into my spreadsheet I want to do some sorting with it by removing the excess info and then copying that into another tabbed page.

ok so turn on record macro , copy the pdf, paste into excel, stop the recorder. The code will be your starter...

This copies it across just as text without the columns being recognised or seperated as there are no seperators in the pdf
