Hello,
I have row of data in many columns. I am looking to copy values from alternate columns of this row and paste in next row.
Is there any macro written to do this?

Thanks!

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Welcome to the Board!

I think we need a little more information.
What columns would be posting it to?
Where then be blank columns in the two rows?

In these cases, it is often best to show us a "before" and "after" picture, so we can see what you are working with, and what you want your end result to look like.
You cannot upload files to this site. But there are tools you can use to post screen images. They are listed in Section B of this link here: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-a...forum-use.html.
Also, there is a Test Here forum on this board that you can use to test out these tools to make sure they are working correctly before using them in your question.

I tried all methods t upload pictures using the secton B of posting tips. I am not able to post pictures. But it is pretty simple what I am tying do here. Simply copy from the first row onto the second row but one column over to the right i.e. from A1 to B2. There are no spaces and no exceptions what so ever.
Thanks.

I am sorry, but the description is still lacking in detail. Remember, while the problem is quite familiar to you, all that we have to go on is what you provide us.
If you question isn't complete and clear, you will probably get many responses which won't be particularly helpful to you. So take the time to post a good complete question.

Here are some questions which need answering:

- Will there always be just one row of data?
If not, what rows will data be in, and if we are copying down the next, won't we be copying over existing data?

- Let's say that you have data in every cell in the range A1:J1.
Are we then copying A1 to B2, C1, to D2, E1 to F2, G1 to H2, and I1 to J2?
Or are we copying all of A1:J1 to B2:K2?

- Should the values being copied down be removed from their original cells?
