macro code for search one functional code in entire column and copy paste all other data into another sheet

hello

i have tried macro for,the following thing.

"list of codes" is a one excel book contains 16subject codes.
"data file" is another excel file..it has 25 columns of data students data.like name ,id number,colege name,doj ,dob,area ,subject code,,etc.,;
"imp details" is a new book


Here , i need to select subject code from "list of codes " excel Book...and select the no of students who are having the particular subject code..if there is 1 or more students with the same sub code..copy them and paste in new excel named "imp details" ..
i have tried a macro but failed bocz the macro not taking total no of sub codes in list of codes excel book.

pls give me the corect one..

thank you!
