Macro - Autoshapes

I currently have a map of the US with 40 stars created marking different locations throughout the DC. Right now, the star are a generic color. Is there a way to create a macro to change the color based on criteria? Each star is entitled Autoshapexxx_click. I need the ability to change the stars to 10 different colors based on the criteria. Each star would only be 1 color but could change the color based on the criteria. Any help would be greatly appreciated
