Lost design master

Hi,

I have been asked to recover a design master of an access database. The one that is currently available is a replica and hence we cannot transfer the data from a table within it, without losing records. Please ca nanyone tell me how I can recover the original desgin master database.

My understanding is that it is possible to change a replicant into a database. I take it that no backup was done prior to the replication or, a backup is nowhere to be found?
