Hi,

I find it useful in the advanced editor to add spacing and line breaks to my M Language, so I can see what the formulas are doing (to the extent I understand any of it).

However, I've noticed that the formatting seems revert to default when I use the standard editor, which basically provides a block of text.

Is there anything I can do about that, or is that just the way of Power Query?

Cheers

Phil

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Thanks for the suggestion. Nothing there I'm afraid. Pretty sure, now, that what was happening was I was adding new appends using the standard interface, so it was auto-writing the code.

So all good.
