Loop thru multiple checkboxes

If have 20 specific activex checkboxes and would like to loop thru them to set to TRUE versus one by one.

How do I convert

.CheckBox1 = True
.CheckBox2 = True
.CheckBox3 = True
.CheckBox4 = True

to

for i = 1 to 20
   .Checkbox & Cstr(i) = True
next i

At least that was my attempt.

So activeX controls are different (in coding) than userform controls? (I'm asking, not telling ..haven't done much with activeX controls)

On a userform, you could do something like:

For i = 1 to 20
    Me.Controls("Checkbox" & i).Value = True
Next i

That wont work on activeX controls?

Yes, I believe they are different, and in my case, I'm trying to clean-up some leftover code from some other users. I'll have a play with all these suggestions. Thanks.
