Lookup on a separate worksheet

All I want to do is what I believe is a lookup that if an item in column A2 matches an item in Column A (on another worksheet) then copy the contents of column E(on the other worksheet) into column J2 (which is where I would be entering the lookup)...does that make sense

Looks like you intend...

J2, just enter:

=INDEX(Sheet2!E:E,MATCH(A2,Sheet2!A:A,0))
