HI,

I am trying to return a value for a number in a string in a pivot table. Currently I've been using index/match with left but keep getting #n/a return value. Open to any suggestions :)

THanks!

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
I don't whether it is just a bad example but A4 0003623 does not exist in your lookup table.
The only way it won't give you a #N/A is if you error trap it with an IfError or IfNA.
