Hi All!

We are working on a sheet and want to pull data from sheet 2 based on the date entered on sheet 1 cell A1.

The data is arranged on sheet 2 by date. Each cloumn is a different date containing either a staff name in the rows below or off. These are list across 31 columns.

In each row below contains the staff name or "off" if they are out on that day listed by location of work i.e. area one, area two etc. up to 24 areas.

I want to pull this information to a front sheet listed by area of work if the staff name appears then it shows open and if the fourmula returns off then its closed.

Any ideas?

I think i explained it badly!

Thanks,

James

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
