I have a data set with the persons name in AD and the Date in AE - along with other data I will be pulling. Each date the users will be sending data on what they did that day. So in the data set, column AD will have the user's name listed more than once. As more than one users will be sending data each day, the date will appear more than one time. There should only be one line with a specific user on a specific date.
In a report, I have the user name going down the side and the dates across the top. Normally I would use index, match to find the data I need, but both of the information I use to look up in in column, not row and column.
Any thoughts on how I would find the correct row by using the user name and date?
Thanks for any insight.
