Ok guys - I think this may need multiple steps to achieve and not sure what the best way to do it is.

In one query I pull a aeries of numerical codes from a linked table. The field contains many different numbers, each separated by a "-", example

02463 - 06628 - 07196 - 08767 - 08795 - 75684 - 75979 - 76104

Each of these numbers represents a unique text description, and I have a separate table with the numerical values in one column and the text in another, example

02463 AAA
06628 BBB

Is there a way of replacing the numerical codes with the text description?

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
