I’ve been using monthview control on a user form for many years even though it is no longer included in Excel 365. I’ve had to re-register mscomct2.ocx many times but always was successful in getting the control to function until last week. I had a problem and had to reinstall Office 365 and although I registered mscomct2.ocx both in sys32 and sysWow64 but I can not add monthview control to the control toolbox. It is not in the list when I select “Additional Controls’

I’m looking for an alternative for the monthview control. I found a calendar class module online but it will only put the date on a worksheet cell. I need the date to be returned to a TextBox on a user form.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

AS a follow up I did find that the monthview amongst other controls are in the Toolbox but they don't appear correctly as shown in the attached pic.

The checkered boxes are in order , DTPicker, Monthview, CommonDialog, MSChart, MSCom, CoolBar, FlUpl, DBGrid, DataGrid. None of the controls can be placed on a form.

It seems that the reinstall of Office 365 has eliminated the controls altogether.

I am running Excel 365 64 bit.

Any ideas?
