Im looking for how excell will let me INPUT time as tenths of an hour.
In cells E7 thru E12, I have starting time. In cells F7 thru F12, I have ending time. In cells G7 thru G12. I have total hours.
Starting..........Ending.........Total
E7=5:30pm.........F7=1:30am...... 8.0,hrs
E8=5:42pm.........F8=1:42am...... 8.0,hrs
E9......Same............................
E10 .....Same...........................
What im looking for:
E11=5.5p..........F11=1.5a........ 8.0,hrs
E12=5.7p..........F12=1.7a........ 8.0, hrs
The above shows E7,F7&E8,F8,as normal 12hrs. In E11,F11&E12,F12 as time in tenth of an hour. Which is what i need and still have the time total to the time worked.
The second problem is getting it past the 12:00am hour (into the next day) There are very good examples ya'll sent several of us to for this. The trouble im having is none seem to have anything in tenths of an hour.
There all in 24hrs. format.
Tom, Yes, every 6 min. Hope this explains Ok. This old man almost lost his computer to a 5lb. sldge hammer over this one. Bob.
