Does anyone have existing code that they could share that will do this?

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
How about
Code:
Sub fldrPick()
   Dim Fpick As Object
   Dim Fldr As String
   Set Fpick = Application.FileDialog(4)
   With Fpick
       .title = "Select a Folder"
       .AllowMultiSelect = False
       If .Show <> -1 Then Exit Sub
       Fldr = .SelectedItems(1)
   End With
End Sub

This code does what I want it to do but its use is limited to excel vba only because it uses application.filedialog(4)

is there some other coding that avoids using this excel application? I would like to use this macro not only in excel but another piece of vba software
