Look up person and count W's and L's

I have created a bracket for a pool tournament that randomizes each round. A win (w) or loss (I) is entered next to the players name. I am trying to see if there is a formula to lookup a player name for the entire range of rounds and count the number of "w" and "l" entered in the Wins and Loss columns. For example, the formula would look up Amanda and count how many W's there are next to her name. I cannot get the mini sheet add in to work and the full pic of the worksheet was too large. I was only able to pic a portion of the file.
