Logarithmic Scale Moves X-axis to Top of Graph

I am creating a scatter graph using a logarithmic scale. When I change the scale to logarithmic, the values on the x-axis move from the bottom of the graph to the top. How can I correct for this to keep the x-axis values at the bottom? Thanks.

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
I tried a sample chart and when I changed the X-Axis to logarithmic scale, it did not move to the top as you said. If you could give some sample data you use it would be able to sort the problem

That's the data I'm working with - can't figure out why the x-axis moves to the top. Have tried to change the formatting to move the x-axis down without any success. Any potential ideas are appreciated!

First, you cannot be using a Scatter chart since your x-values are not numeric but text ranges (95-99 for example). Not that that matters...

I suspect the x-axis moves to the top because all your y-values have negative log values (except 1 which becomes zero). By default, the x-axis intercepts the y-axis at y=0, which for a log scale translates to an original y-value of 1.

You can solve this problem by double-clicking the y-axis. From the 'Scale' tab in the 'Category (X) axis crosses at' field enter a very small number such as 0.00000001. Don't enter zero. For obvious reasons it won't work. Make sure the corresponding 'Auto' checkbox is *unchecked.*
