locking text in a textbox

I am using an activeX TextBox on a sheet of mine that I would like to have the text locked on.

Reason being, the TextBox is is simply being used as a set on institutions for my users but I don't want them to be able to edit the instructions I typed into the TextBox.

I would have used the shapes textbox but I prefer the scroll feature in the activeX TextBox.

Is there a way to lock the text in a TextBox so a user cannot add or delete any text?

Is it as simple as setting its Locked property to True?

Or you could use a Label.
