Dear all,
I am busy making a database from a questionnaire in Excel and I want to be able to avoid data entry in a certain cell (to avoid data entry mistakes). For example:
Colomn A contains a 1 (TRUE) or 2 (False) value as reply to a question if the family has children.
Colomn B then contains reply to a question that these go to school (1 True, 2 for False).
Obviously, if A is false, B is false.
My idea is to have Colomn B locked, and change protection to unlocked when colomn A is True. I tried to use conditional formatting, but did not find it there (Excel 2007).
I have been trying to use Enhanced Data entry (http://spreadsheetpage.com/index.php/dataform/home), which is very good, except that it does not allow to "skip" questions.
Ideas are welcome!
