Locked Back End will not REPAIR *FIXED*

Guys I am having mega difficulty opening this Back End it says it needs to be repaired but errors out half way through the repair progress meter on the bottom of the screen.

I found an 8 week old copy but about 900 records are missing all the work that 5 staff have put it over the last 2 months. I have told him backing these things up is critical but that doesnt help much now.

Does anyone know how to force repair a database the fails the repair process ?

Its not my database but the guy who operates it is at his wits end and I said I would ask those in the know.

A Google search for Access Data Recovery returns several downloadable tools for this purpose. I can't speak for how good they are though, I've never had to try them (yet).

Both fix the problems they even give me a view of the actual tables but there is no export or actual repair with demo versions and the programs are both 300 dollars.

Im not paying that much they can redo 2 months work as far as im concerned

I managed to locate an older version of Access Fix 3.70 ahem

Its quite the little program indeed 2 thumbs up from me!
