Hi all,

I have a sales pricing model and i need to lock access to a cell if another cell contains certain text.

For example:

If C7 = "Existing Client" then F14 is editable
If C7 = "Prospective Client" then F14 is not-editable

At present, the spreadsheet is not protected, but once i get this last piece of the puzzle sorted, I will be protecting the sheet so the sales team can't destroy it!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Kfryar and welcome on board,
OK but i need to know the real wanted references, what are the cells that are going to be checked and what cells should be locked..

Hi ZAX,

The above cells are the exact cells that would been to be referenced and locked. There are other, unrelatated cells in the worksheet that will also be locked/unlocked, but they have no relevance to this formula/module... whatever it's called ;)
