Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Right-click it in the Queries and Connections task pane in Excel, and choose Load To... then Connection only.

Right-click it in the Queries and Connections task pane in Excel, and choose Load To... then Connection only.
The problem with doing that is if I uncheck the "add this data to the data model" and just check the "only create connection" it gives me a warning "this query is currently connected to tables, pivot tables, charts,or calculations in your workbook. Removing it from the data model,or changing its loading destination will disconnect these objects from the query.
Disconnected tables and pivot tables might be deleted.
Do you want to continue?
"
What should I press here is this a concern ?

I didn’t say anything about the data model option.

ok so what do i do in this case should i just delete that query ? it seems useless I'm not using it in any reports I'm only using the last query with 7.7 mil rows

No, just change the load to settings so it’s connection only rather than table.

It’s being used as the default value for your parameter

it already set up as connection only, the problem is its also connected to the power pivot data model my question is should i unconnected it from there ? I'm assuming if i do that it will work

Is it not working now? It appears to be in that picture

Thinking about it, that should not be loading to the data model. It would serve no purpose there.
