Little Green Triangle at Upper Left of Cell

I have some cells with data validation turned on with list of values for the allow list. I've disabled the input message and error alert because the list contains the most common entries for these cells so other values are OK. However, when I put in other values, a little green triangle shows up in the upper right corner of the cell. I can click on the ignore this error with the hover button, but it is only for that cell. How do I prevent that green triangle from showing up for this workbook?

Note that I created a simple workbook, and it is not doing this. I get no green triangles. Is this a setting that I changed years ago on this legacy workbook?

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks.

That turns off background error checking for all workbooks on my computer, not for just the specific workbook.

I also found that on my simple sheet, the green triangles don't show up until I use a table.

Not sure about the Table issue but in general error checking is at Application level not Workbook level, and so the only option I can think of is to turn it off with a macro when the Workbook opens and restore it again when it closes.
