Help please,
I have a listing of postcodes in a col. A with some of them given as a range. Is there a quick way to list the postcodes individually in a separate column within that postcode range given and match the corresponding zone associated with it. Example:

POSTCODE ZONE
200-203 CANBERRA

I would like to this to be:

200 CANBERRA
201 CANBERRA
203 CANBERRA

Thank you

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Would this be a quick way:

Put 200 CANBERRA in Range("A1")
Put 201 CANBERRA in Range("A2")

Then Select Range(A1:A2")

And then select the small square box in bottom right corner of selection and drag down

Welcome to the MrExcel board!

.. with some of them given as a range.
That implies that some of them are not a range, so could you give a slightly bigger set of representative sample data and the expected results?
Preference would be to have sample data that we can copy/paste to test with - my signature block below has a link with suggestions for that.

Is a macro solution acceptable if a formula or manual one is not feasible?

What version of Excel are you using?

A bit of background as to why you want them listed individually might also help.
