Hello All,
How do you capture the selected item in a listbox?

me.ListBox1.ItemsSelected ?

Basically I want to take the user selection from a ListBox and pass that selection on to a query.

Thanks!

Dan

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Well, it depends on if you have Multi Select on or not.

If you do not (you can only select one item), you can do this:

myVar = Me.lboMyList.ItemData(me.lboMyList.ItemsSelected(0))

If you do have multi select on, then you can do something like this:

For lngI = 1 to Me.lboMyList.ItemsSelected.Count
myVar = Me.lboMyList.ItemData(me.lboMyList.ItemsSelected(lngI))
' Do something with this variable
' alternatively, you can read the selected items
' into an array
Next lngI

Hope this helps,

Russell
