currently have in column A, a list of names. In column L, I have a "yes" or "no". What formula would I use to produce a list, in column N, of the names that are "no".? Any help would be appreciated

Excel Facts

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Have you tried filtering the list using column L as NO? Then, copy and paste from the A column to N.

Or, in N: =IF("No" = L2,A2,"") and fill down then filter on N.

kweaver's idea is probably the fastest, but if you need a formula, try:

Book1
ALN
1NameFlagNo List
2AmyyesDan
3BobyesEliza
4ClarayesGiselle
5DannoIrene
6ElizanoJim
7Fredyes
8Giselleno
9Hankyes
10Ireneno
11Jimno
12Katyyes
13
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
N2=IFERROR(INDEX($A:$A,AGGREGATE(15,6,ROW($A$2:$A$20)/(($L$2:$L$20="no")*($A$2:$A$20<>"")),ROWS($N$2:$N2))),"")

Thank you. I was using the filtering but was looking to use a formula to basically paste the list onto a separate tab, hiding all the raw data. I should have explained that in the beginning, but thank you again.
