List dropdown icon missing

How do I get the drop-down icon in the Accounts column to be present all the way down the column and not have to keep dragging it down? I don't know how I got in this situation, like why the icon isn't in the cells where I've added the account. That makes it hard to drag a cell with the icon in it down because it copies the entry.

Also, why is the column header list different than the local cell dropdown list?
