Links to pagemaker

I have created a 24 page price list in PageMaker 7.01 with over 25
linked Excel tables run by my costing files. My problem is I am
printing a 1 or 2 color job and Pagemaker creates color seperations
even if the table is only black and white. My commercial printer says
they will need to print this as a 4 color job at a much higher price.
Is there any work around so Pagemaker will treat the table as black and
white?
