I have never had this problem before, but when I type = followed by clicking on a cell in another worksheet, nothing happens. The = remains in the original cell with nothing following it. Both of my cells are formatted to be Number.

Thank you!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Are you clicking on another sheet in the same workbook or clicking on another sheet in a different workbook? If you are clicking between two workbooks they must be open in the same instance.
