Linking worksheet to another Workbook

Hello,
Prob Statement: I have a workbook that is linked with a sheet in another workbook and there some cells in the source Wb that are blank.
The linked workbook kicksback "0" (Zeros) in cells where the source worksheet does not have any data.
How would I re write the formula below to correct this?

='[01 - ONTCA IE CHECKLIST JULY2023.xlsx]ONBOARD CHECKLIST'!L2

If you know you are only returning text you can just add & ""
eg

='[01 - ONTCA IE CHECKLIST JULY2023.xlsx]ONBOARD CHECKLIST'!L2 & ""

If you are returning numbers or want something that will work on both number and text data you will need to use an if statement.
eg

=LET(rChkList, '[01 - ONTCA IE CHECKLIST JULY2023.xlsx]ONBOARD CHECKLIST'!L2,
         IF(rChkList="","",rChkList))
