Linking tables! help! please!

We are trying to link to a table on annother computer over the internet but we keep getting this error message :oops:

can anyone help as it is very important that we get this working

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Forgive me for being totally obvious but did you try what the error message said by copying the data onto your computer?

Sometimes the most obvious answers are not so clear when a problem arises!

Other than that sorry but I don't have any further help.

we cant copy the database acrooss... it needs to be linked over the internet.

anyone got any ideas?
