Linking merged cells to unmerged cells

Hi,

I'm trying to link merged cells with unmerged cells and am having some problems.

I have merged 4 cells vertically, when I try to drag down the link to the unmerged cells it skips to every 4th cell.

e.g the link skips C2,C6,C10,C14,C22.

Is there any way of linking the merged cells to C4,C5,C6,C7,C8 and so on.
