So I've linked two separate workbooks, let's call them each work book: WB-A and WB-B and they are each contained within one folder.
"WB-A" feeds "WB-B" which does a calculation based on the inputs in "WB-A". Then "WB-B" outputs it's calculations back into "WB-A". I've simply linked the cells by placing an "=" in the opposite workbooks formula bar and clicking the corresponding cell that I want to appear in that work book. Everything works great on my local computer. See below for path.
Manual Input -> WB-A (values go into WB-B) -> WB-B (performs calculation) -> WB-A (outputs of calculation in WB-B)
However, when I zip the the folder and send it to someone else. The linked cells then show up as "#REF" --- I've tried to update links after the folder is sent, but that doesn't fix the problem. Sometimes only WB-A links shows #REF (from the outputted calculations of WB-B) and sometimes both do. I think the is dependent on the order I open them. However, is there a way when sending excel work books in a zip folder to keep the connections correct.
Thanks in Advance.
