Hi All,

I have a workbook with two sheets in it named "Eastern End" and "Western End" On each of these sheets I have a checkbox ("Developer, Insert, Checkbox (form controls"). The checkbox on the "Eastern End" worksheet has a cell link of "$DA$12". There is then conditional formatting on cells on this sheet to activate when the checkbox is ticked.

Is there any way I can link these check boxes on different sheets so that if one is ticked on one sheet then the checkbox on the other sheet also becomes ticked and vice versa.

Thank you all

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Assign these macros to the "Western End" checkbox and the "Eastern End" checkbox respectively. Change the names of the checkboxes (both "Check Box 1") in this example as required.

VBA Code:
Public Sub WesternEnd_CheckBox_Click()
    ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Eastern End").Shapes("Check Box 1").OLEFormat.Object.Value = ActiveSheet.Shapes("Check Box 1").OLEFormat.Object.Value
End Sub

Public Sub EasternEnd_CheckBox_Click()
    ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Western End").Shapes("Check Box 1").OLEFormat.Object.Value = ActiveSheet.Shapes("Check Box 1").OLEFormat.Object.Value
End Sub
