Linking cells to Wave Chart - flexibility in no of units sold in future years

Hi,
Good day all,

I am preparing a forecast for next 10 years for my company. So I used activex scroll bars to control number of units expected to be sold. For example no of units sold in 1st year were controlled by an ActiveX bar and then the annual increase (by a %age) in no. of units was controlled by another ActiveX bar. This helped me to setup linear assumptions and helped my boss also to change the no of units by using these ActiveX bars and see the impact on sales.

But I need now more flexibility which will help me change number of units sold for each year separately, in a graphical way. What I am thinking of is,,,, some kind of line chart (like sound waves) which user can control (just like equalizer setting in VLC) – the chart should extend over multiple years ---- the user, which is my boss, move waves up or down in different years as per his discretion over multiple years which in turn change the number of units in each year.

I hope I explained my requirements correctly. I am not sure if such functionality exists in excel.
Any help will be much appreciated.

i m sharing an image below,, to show what i need in excel.

Your picture did not come through at my site (it may have been blocked).
I can only see either:
1) a scroll bar for each year involved, or
2) a drop down box for each year coupled with a single scroll bar

Either of the 2 options above would change the value for its year.
