Hi all, I hope somebody can help. I have multiple workbooks that are maintained by multiple folks, all housed in the same drive/folder. The information from these needs to roll to one master workbook. Each sheet in each workbook is formatted exactly the same---however the number of rows changes workbook by workbook, depending on the number of projects assigned that workbook. See below format:

What I was hoping to do (but could not make work following Excel's help instructions) was to name a range From line 2 column 1 Through line 5 column 6 (leaving out the subtotal) in each source workbook, and linking the range to the destination workbook, which would be formatted with the titles already (subtotaling currently not necessary in destination workbook). I need all the same information in the range from each sheet (not a summary thereof).
The destination should look just like the source sheets, only containing one title row, which would be static and links to all the information contained in that section for each of the workbooks filtering up.
I wanted to use a range, so that if lines are inserted in the middle, the range will grow respectively to accomodate. This is also why I didn't want to use direct linking (=[Book1]Sheet1!$A$1), as that would not allow for growth and infromation may go missing on the destination workbook.
I'm relatively new to VBA and Macros, but if that is the way to go, I don't know where to start to get there.
I tried searchig the forum, but could not find just what I was looking for. :confused:
