Linked Tables

I have coded a routine that links user to some backup data and allows them to re run some previous months stuff. I also coded a delete step so as Access does not append a incremental copy number to the table. The only step I am having trouble with is determining if the table exists prior to trying to delete it. Any help would be appreciated.
