I have a split database and I am wondering if I can create a table in the front end and get it working with my new forms. When I get it working import it into the back end, delete the front end table and then link it to the table in the back end.

I want to be create the table and forms while people are using the database and do the importing and linking when everyone goes home.

Possible? I imported a form with a module and had problems, I am wondering if I will have similar problems with a table.

Thanks,

Greg C

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
I think most of what you mention is possible but I don't quite get what you are trying to do and why.

The whole point of creating a split database is to seperate the data from forms/code etc. Some of the things you mentioned would probably need code.

I'm not sure if I understand the problem 100% but if this a matter of version control and not changing the database while people are using it during the day, could you not take a copy of the database to use for your development and then import your changes into the "live" version at the end of the day?
Andrew. :)
