Hello

I have an Excel Document with multiple columns. One of those columns is filled with "checkboxes" that I link to the cell that they are in. The issue arises when I decide to SORT and/or FILTER any column, even the same column that has the checkboxes. The link between cell and checkbox gets jumbled up. Does anyone have any solution to get around this. I have never had this issue before, but probably because I haven't filtered those documents.

Cheers
Marcus

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
There are workarounds to using actual checkboxes. You can change the font in your checkbox column to Webdings and type a lowercase "a" to get a checkmark. Or you can use a combination of VBA event code and the font Wingdings 2 to simulate a checkbox when you double click a cell.
