Hi all!

One of my colleagues has issue since some days:

It's simpel: There are 2 Excel files: One to copy data from and Excel Masterdata file
The Masterdata file has 2 sheets: one with all the data and one with all the data but with linked cells to the first sheet.

AsWas: You could copy a range of data and paste it into the other workbook in data sheet. In the sheet with linked cells these cells were updated with the new values.

AsIs: We do the same thing but now values in the linked cells aren't updating anymore! Only if you open each cell separately or use Text To Columns in these columns, the links show their values. Otherwise they are just showing nothing. Formats of the linked cells and data cells are the same... Calculation mode is Automatic... I'm out of ideas... Please help!

Kind regards,
Roy

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Also, when I Enter a linked cell, there is a small function button coming next to it. When I click it, it show the option "Overwrite all cells in this column with this formula.". When I click on that option all cells are showing their values. Which I don't understand because they already contained that formula...
