Link works in Outlook but not Excel or in Powerpoint: Help if you can.

Hi all,

Any help would be appreciated with my issue. I have the below internal link to open up an Excel File.

"\\fmc9001101\proj\1500\Engine_Assembly\DV5_Dragon_IEP#2\IEP_Quotes_Technical\120207_customer_overview_TKSE_content.xls"

Now, hyperlinking this in Outlook, it works great, but hyperlinking the above in Excel or Powepoint, causes a failure. Why?

Problem solved. The # messes up hyperlinking in Excel and Powerpoint but not Outlook.
