Hi everybody!
I've got this problem (excel 2010): when I open a file, I've got the error message that I've a broken link: it cannot update the data from a certain file. It tells me from which file it cannot download the data (also seen in "Edit Links") but it does not say which is the cell that contains the formula where is the wrong file address!
In many cases, I just want to delete the link because I copied and pasted a formula from another file and the references are linked to the old file. There is the option in the Edit Links to break the link, but before that I would like to check the cell if I want there a value or an updated formula...
I usually visualise formulas instead of results in the cells to help me finding the bloody cell, but sometimes I've got very large files...
Any ideas?
thanks a lot
Carlo
